CEMRIAC (pronounced sem-re-ac) is one of seven IAC regions. The name comes from the initial capitals: Central & East Midlands Region of the IAC.

CEMRIAC came into existence in 1969 and it supports nearly 200 members and many clubs in 13 counties.

It is run by a Regional Council elected at the A.G.M. and it organises and runs events for members and affiliated clubs or societies within the region.

Councillors serve for three years after which they either stand for re-election or they stand down.
